Just arrived and current news !

In this space look for just arrived info and current activities from IPRO.

Nov. 2014:  It is now the slowest time of the year here at the shop. Bills keep coming in but not so much work or sales. It is also the time I take account of how the year went and what I would like to do for the following year.  Sales on custom bikes stayed pretty even, but sales on mid level bikes was soft, not only for my shop but for many others in the area and across the US. A few shops didn’t make it through the year. Thankfully my shop did well enough to stay up, but a few plans were forced to be put on hold.

I need to clear out some old stock and generate income to pay for new items and the ever present bills of course. Now is a good time to get some really low prices on frames and bikes, as I need to make room for new models and change of suppliers. I have pretty low prices on shoes and helmets right now and there can be savings on other items as well.

For 2015, I will be able to offer Guercotti bikes along with most of the current offerings. I hope to have a stronger emphasis on the Bianchi brand, so that means fewer Masi and Marin bikes on the floor. Bianchi’s line up looks very competitive in both price and quality, not to mention looks!  The DeBrenardi’s are great bikes, with better features and materials than most big box offerings while still being at a competitive price. AND they are custom built so you get to select from a wide choice of components for a real personal bike build, rather than a bike built for the masses.

Reynolds Wheels have a Ride to Decide program that lets you test ride a pair of their wheels, no cost, and if you like them, (you will), you can buy a set and get $100 rebate and their $250 insurance free. Just go to the Reynolds Wheels web page for more details. I am an authorized dealer and participating shop for this program. I have ridden their wheels and prefer them to many of the other offerings available. One nice feature is they own the factories that produce their wheels and do their own R&D. only a handfull of companies do this. This assures a greater level of quality control and  production standards as well as controlling costs  to assure the best value in cost of ownership and experience.

Now is the best time to get fitted for your bike. I offer both a basic fit to your existing bike, @$50 and a complete fit session @ $200. This price is cut to $100 if you purchase a bike from me within 6 Months.  Most fitting sessions are done on Tuesday and Friday between 8am and 6pm.  For the new year, starting in April, these prices will go up to $75 basic fit, $250 full fitting.  Remember, the Basic fit is included with any new bike purchase.

Happy holidays and new year to all.

June 2014:  There are new models in stock. Check out the lines on the Bike Line page.

I have picked up Limar, Vittoria, and Kask helmets. Also new is Vittoria Shoes, Rol wheels, Reynolds wheels, RolfPrima wheels and  Rav-X products.
